Who We Are
Sunny Bank PRS (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service) is a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ service supporting individuals with mental health needs. We offer a fully integrated rehabilitative psychiatric service, including residential care, day care and supported living.
Our aim is to provide person-centred, rehabilitative residential care for up to 21 residents who require medium to long-term support. Many of our clients progress onto semi-independent living within the community. We also offer day care and support across 3 supported living properties in Bury (close by to our main residential home).

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. This role involves working closely with clients to support their living space and overall wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who must have previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role. The role is to work 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, including public holidays and some weekend working during periods of increased infection control measures.

Key Responsibilities
- To maintain a clean, safe welcoming environment in accordance with hygiene, infection control and health and safety.
- Work closely with our clients to promote comfort, dignity and well-being.
- Cleaning clients’ bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms and lounges, ensuring all equipment and materials are safely stored and maintained.

Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock levels

Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (essential)

Is willing to undertake training e.g. Infection Control, Health & Safety, COSHH and Safeguarding and other mandatory training.
- Understands safe cleaning practises and cleaning materials (essential)

Can work independently with a positive attitude and can manage time effectively

Has a good attention to detail and a high standard of cleaning

Communicates well and has strong team working skills

Demonstrates initiative and pride in their work
- Can follow instructions and maintain confidentiality

Has a flexible approach to work.
