MOT Tester – £35,000 basic with OTE potential up to £45,000
Due to continued growth and investment in our business, we are looking for an experienced and motivated MOT Tester to join our expanding team in Broxburn.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards
- Complete vehicle inspections accurately and efficiently
- Identify and report defects in line with current regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
- Complete all relevant paperwork and systems correctly
- Work closely with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified MOT Tester, or an experienced technician looking to gain their MOT qualification
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Good understanding of vehicle inspections and repair requirements
- Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
Previous MOT experience is preferred, but we are also interested in experienced technicians with the right skills, attitude, and ambition to develop.
If you have strong workshop experience but do not currently hold an MOT qualification, we are happy to discuss supporting the right candidate through the qualification process.
