Job Overview
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Salesperson/project lead who is already working within the commercial interiors industry.
Working alongside the Directors of Pi Group, Candidate will use their existing network of contacts and local knowledge to develop sales in line with our sales strategy and business growth plans.
Candidate will find new business opportunities for Pi Group predominantly in the commercial sector, through targeted engagement with medium to large scale occupiers, Architects/Designers, Project Managers/QS’.
Candidate will work on projects, specifying, quoting and delivering.
This is an independent, proactive Sales role for an individual driven to succeed and develop their career within a hardworking, growing SME of 8 people. The role offers uncapped earning potential.
Role is primarily based in Birmingham.
Experience/skill requirements:
- Established client/professional team network
- Minimum five years’ experience in the office furniture industry (or similar).
- Experience of working and winning projects worth over £1m p.a
- Proficient in all MS Office applications with the confidence and ability to learn new systems and technology when required
- Strong Presentation skills
- Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
- Cold calling and developing new business opportunities, working independently
- Team Player, willing to ‘pitch in’ and be flexible in their working approach including out of hours when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed an invoiced sales target of £1m in a given financial year.
- Meet or exceed profitability targets.
- Define prospects, develop leads and evaluate service and furniture project opportunities
- Sales opportunity generation through networking, cold calling, and proactive account management.
- Conducting face to face meetings with prospective customers and trade partners.
- Promoting Pi Groups products and services with the help of the Pi support team
- Commercially responsible for the project success from initial enquiry to installation.
- Meet and or exceed role specific key performance indicators.
- To act in an approachable, friendly manner which is efficient and orderly ensuring tasks are achieved within the set timescales.
Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
