We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our talented Kitchen team. You will play a key role in the preparation and production of our menu, working with fresh, quality ingredients in a beautiful setting. The role involves the following key responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and production according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food items are properly stored, labelled, and rotated
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and kitchen area
- Follow all food safety guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and enjoyable kitchen operations
- Support senior chefs in various tasks and take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen
Skills we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, though a genuine passion for food is what matters most
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work with energy and pace in a busy kitchen while maintaining high quality standards
- A great team player with excellent communication skills
- A hunger to learn, develop, and be part of something special
