Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various domestic and commercial premises. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all communal spaces, offices, restrooms, and other facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to the organisation’s cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition through regular inspection and proper storage.
Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic and commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety procedures.
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and professional approach when interacting with colleagues and clients.
