We’re looking for someone to join our team working with customers to help us deliver the best service that they’ve ever received whilst maximising sales.
The role is a part of our pearl jewellery sales team in the flagship Jersey Pearl, St. Ouen showroom. Working with a mix of experienced and new team members you’ll be responsible for making our customers feel welcome whilst helping them find their perfect piece of pearl jewellery to treasure.
With an established induction and training programme we do all we can to encourage new starters to learn from our wonderful team. New team members will have the opportunity to take on all sorts of additional responsibilities in a variety of areas such as Visual Merchandising, Pearl Stringing or Stock Management - this is a sales role like no other.

Responsibilities
- First and foremost, you will be working with our customers to ensure that they love their time at Jersey Pearl and go home with jewellery that they will cherish forever. Delivering the world’s best customer service whilst maximising sales.
- Maintain and explain excellent product knowledge.
- Participate in all training opportunities provided and contribute positively to team sessions.
- Adhere to all operational practices and procedures, i.e. stock deliveries, health and safety standards, stock takes and replenishment.
- Support other stores where needed.
- Have an awareness of the store’s sales targets and its current performance versus like-for-like/target/company figures
- Keeping our displays looking their best – making sure they’re clearly and beautifully merchandised and nice and clean at all times.
- Accurate and efficient use of our till.
- Keeping stock well organised.
- Helping our workshop by learning to string pearls when time allows.
About you
- You will love working with people and thrive on delivering brilliant customer service.
- Whether you’re well experienced in jewellery sales, you’re new to retail or this is your first role in a while – all you need is the passion to delight people and learn. We’re confident that our training and culture will help turn this drive into great customer service and sales results.
