Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate: £13.25 to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience and tier placement
Sleep in payment: £54.00 per sleep

What you'll do
- Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people
- Help with daily routines, activities, appointments, and home life
- Support positive behaviour and help maintain a safe environment
- Work alongside permanent staff to provide consistency and stability
- Follow safeguarding procedures and company policies at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
- Complete records and handovers accurately when required
What we're looking for
Essential:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people aged 8-18
- Ability to adapt quickly to different homes and teams
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- 12 months experience working in children’s residential care or a similar setting
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
