Responsibilities and duties for the Chef's Assistant role are:

Prepare and serve meals to residents and staff according to pre-set menus

Order stock, ensuring availability of ingredients and receiving stock

Manage food storage according to EH regulations

Stock rotation and wastage control

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and Infection control
Requirements for the Chef's Assistant role:

Current food hygiene certificate would be useful but training to be given
-
Experience of cooking in a care home or similar environment would be ideal but not essential

Good spoken and written English
Pay:
As an employee (Age 21 years +) you will earn

Salary: From £13.45
-
10% increase on any weekend hours worked
-
50% extra pay on Bank Holidays
