Griffiths & Hood Ltd is a family-run office furniture manufacturer based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Operating since 1964, we manufacture bespoke office furniture, panels, and joinery from veneer, laminate, melamine, MDF, plywood, solid timber, and other materials.
We are looking for a Factory Labourer to join a busy and expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, professional, and well-established family-run company.
The right candidate must be punctual, reliable, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Lifting, sorting, and packaging products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Assist in production processes, including the use of hand tools.
- Checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
