SLR Supplies Ltd is excited to present a new Warehouse Supervisor opportunity to join the growing Bakery and Patisserie Ingredients Wholesale Business. Key responsibilities within this new role will be overseeing all day-to-day operations and warehouse duties within the business and working closely alongside the operation manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Managing site warehouse and yard keeping it Clean and tidy.
· Ensuring incoming shipments are received in a timely and well-organized manner.
· Planning and monitoring the dispatch of goods.
· Managing pick accuracy and ensuring quality checking processes are being followed.
· Ensuring health and safety compliance within the warehouse.
· Leading the team by example.
ABOUT YOU
· Experience in an Warehouse Operations.
· Hold a Forklift Truck License
· Ability to keep a clear head under pressure, allowing effective decisions to be made.
· Strong commitment to the highest quality and hygiene standards.
· A good level of fitness (the work can be physically demanding at times) carrying up to 25kg boxes.
· Experience working in food and drink, or the hospitality industry.
· Customer service experience dealing with changes to orders or queries.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
