Multi‑Trade Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Multi‑Trade Maintenance Operative to work across various sites within a 50‑mile radius.
You’ll be part of a team responsible for delivering a wide range of maintenance activities and supporting site operations. You will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, equipment is kept in safe working order, and all Health & Safety requirements are met. This role offers excellent opportunities for overtime and progression within the company.

One Group Services is a family‑owned, multi‑divisional facilities maintenance business experiencing continued growth across all service lines. We provide general and specialist maintenance services to clients across multiple sectors throughout the South and Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks including painting and decorating, system checks, equipment inspections, minor carpentry repairs, general plumbing tasks, pressure washing.
- Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and safe‑working practices
- Assist in specialist cleaning services such as pressure washing and high‑level dust extraction
Requirements
- Proven experience in a maintenance, building services, or multi‑trade role
- Practical skills in painting & decorating, carpentry, and general plumbing
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently and safely
- Basic understanding of electrical and HVAC systems
- Physical stamina to undertake manual labour tasks
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
- Technical certifications (e.g., PASMA, IPAF, trade qualifications) are an advantage
- For insurance purposes, candidates must be over 21 with a clean driving licence
