Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring standards are maintained, and supporting the overall efficiency of the production process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the production of high-quality electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate various production machinery to ensure smooth operation and product quality.
- Measure, grade, and feed raw materials into production machinery
- Use specialised machines to operate equipment, cut materials, and control machines
- Assemble goods in a production line as required
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipping
- Monitor production and carry out basic testing and quality checks
- Clean and maintain work areas and machinery
- Report equipment faults to senior staff
- Understand the finished goods' safety protocols and quality requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
