What you’ll do
· Lead, support and develop Mobile Security Officers across multiple locations, creating a positive culture of accountability and high performance.
· Coordinate mobile patrols and site coverage, making sure customer requirements, emergency procedures and response protocols are followed.
· Visit scheduled mobile and key-holding sites, including checks after alarm responses, to confirm duties have been completed correctly.
· Coach team members, support onboarding and training, carry out driving assessments and provide clear written performance feedback.
· Monitor SIA, health and safety, GDPR and company-policy compliance, escalating and supporting HR matters appropriately.
· Oversee daily vehicle checks, weekly inspections, equipment audits and fleet readiness, working with the Fleet Manager to resolve issues quickly.
· Maintain accurate site-visit and supervisory records, update Assignment Instructions and support key-management processes.
· Install, replace or remove security signage and key safes to the required standard, with the customer experience in mind.
· Step into operational duties when cover is required, while continuing to lead and support the wider team.
What you’ll bring
· A current SIA front-line licence and a valid first aid certificate.
· A full, clean UK manual driving licence.
· Experience in mobile security and/or supervising operational teams is highly desirable.
· Confident leadership, coaching and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed in a fast-moving environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, strong customer-service instincts and accurate report writing.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, mobile apps, security technology and digital reporting tools.
· A full 10-year checkable work history to BS7858 standard and the ability to pass background screening and provide professional references.
· The flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays, and to provide last-minute cover when needed.
