Day Time Support Worker - Ruskin Mill College
40 hours per week (Monday - Friday), 37 weeks per year (term time only)
Salary: £14.55 per hour / £21,657 per annum (fulltime equivalent = £26,538)

An opportunity has become available to join Ruskin Mill College, Ruskin Mill Trust, as part of the committed daytime support team focusing on the holistic needs of the students. This role is challenging and rewarding. To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a strong desire to support young people
- Have excellent observational skills, and the ability to problem solve and think creatively to enable our young people to reimagine their potential
- Be patient, caring, compassionate with a young person-centred nature
- Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations with emotional intelligence and resilience, and to have the capacity to react calmly in stressful situations
- Be a team player with experience of support work in both educational and residential settings
A QCF or NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care would be desirable, but not essential, as Ruskin Mill Trust will provide comprehensive training and support.
