Listers Health (Ladies Only Gym) is developing a new premium café as part of our expanding health, fitness and wellness destination in Bradford.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Café Operations & Project Manager to help take the café from development through to successful launch.
Working closely with the Managing Director and wider project team, you will take ownership of the operational development of the café, helping turn the concept into a commercially viable, efficient and high-quality operation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and refining the café menu and product offering
- Menu costing, pricing and margin analysis
- Researching, evaluating and coordinating suppliers
- Identifying and sourcing appropriate café equipment
- Developing operational workflows and day-to-day processes
- Supporting staffing requirements, recruitment and training
- Establishing stock control, ordering and waste-management systems
- Developing food hygiene, allergen and food-safety procedures
- Supporting COSHH, risk assessments and compliance requirements
- Creating opening, closing, cleaning and operational procedures
- Helping establish appropriate POS/ordering systems
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers and the wider project team
- Supporting testing, soft launch and full café launch
- Identifying opportunities to create an efficient, commercially sustainable operation
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong café, hospitality or food-service project experience
- Ideally has experience opening or launching a café/food business
- Understands café operations as well as project management
- Has strong commercial awareness around costings, margins, stock and waste
- Understands food hygiene, allergens and operational compliance
- Can confidently manage suppliers and multiple workstreams
- Is organised, hands-on and comfortable taking ownership
- Can take a project from planning through to execution

Contract/Hours: Full Time
Salary: £25,000 with potential to have a stake or bonusses
