We’re looking for an enthusiastic Asset Surveyor to join our friendly Property Services Team, and support the Asset Manager with providing our customers with an excellent planned works service.
Focusing on specific repairs, projects, and programmes, this role will include:

Supporting the Asset Manager in collecting and analysing asset stock condition and EPC data to inform delivery of the Asset Management Strategy and future asset management decisions.

Develop recommendations for planned maintenance, cyclical works and capital investment programmes.

Carrying out damp and mould inspections and surveys on behalf of CHS for defect diagnosis, assurance around quality/performance, H&S compliance, and asset condition.

Managing projects and programmes in relation to CHS deliverables and objectives, such as Net Zero Carbon, Decent Homes, insurance, social value etc.

Responsibility for the day-to-day management of designated projects and contracts, on behalf of CHS.

Proven ability to manage workload and providing a building surveying service within a customer focused environment.

Knowledge of stock data required to support asset management functions including planned programmes and the delivery of Net Zero Carbon targets.

Ability to monitor own performance and deliver against agreed objectives, financial targets and within budget constraints.

Excellent contract administration skills; experience of producing survey reports, diagnosing defects and repair option appraisals.

Competent in MS Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook) and other relevant database software packages.
