Role and Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the showroom management team in ensuring the smooth operations of the dynamic and ever-changing showroom environment. Working closely with the Showroom Manager and collaborating with the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the success of each sale event.
Team Management
- Support the management of a diverse team of temporary staff across multiple international locations, ensuring a clear understanding of Arlettie’s procedures and ways of working.
- Assist with resource allocation and the coordination of daily operational activities.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Train and develop team members to deliver the highest standards of customer service and showroom experience.
Operations Management:
Assist in managing stock deliveries, inventory management, and stock returns, ensuring efficient processing and accurate documentation.
Support in the preparation and maintenance of product zoning/merchandising, helping to create visually appealing displays that enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate in product pricing and tagging processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the showroom.
Assist in managing customer access, queues and providing exceptional customer service.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised showroom environment, reflecting the luxury standards of our brand partner.
Support health and safety measures, risk management, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an assistant manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced luxury retail setting is essential.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting the Showroom Manager and other team members.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic showroom environment.
A can-do attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of the business.
International Travel Requirements:
This role involves extensive international travel, supporting approximately 7 sale events per year across multiple global locations.
Each event may last up to 3 weeks.
Candidates must be comfortable spending extended periods away from home and working in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment.
Must be eligible to travel internationally and hold (or be able to obtain) any required visas and travel documentation.
