About The Role
RNR Group are looking to recruit an experienced Excavator Operator / HGV Driver to join our experienced and dedicated team in the Telecoms division.
Our Head Office is based at Progress Drive Cannock, however you will be based working across the Midlands and will be required to work at any other location as determined by the needs of the Company to fulfil your role.
The role of an Excavator Operator / HGV Driver is a physical and technically demanding role at times and requires drivers who have an excellent work ethic.
You'll promote a positive image of RNR, completing all your duties to a high standard and in an efficient, customer-focused manner.

The job duties will involve:
- Transporting pieces of plant throughout the midlands
- Operating 360 excavators safely
- Carrying out lifting operations involving large materials
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Supervising or helping to load and unload goods
- Lifting and carrying goods
- Making sure loads are safely secured
- Completing delivery paperwork
- Keeping up-to-date logbooks
About You
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and hardworking individual with a flexible approach to your work. You should enjoy working as part of a team as well as on your own and have a positive can-do attitude.
Previous experience as an HGV driver is desirable.
Essential requirements include:
- Holding a full UK Cat C licence (HGV Class 2)
- CPCS Card
- Streetworks
- SA006/SA001A and poling module 03
- A good level of physical fitness to undertake the tasks of the role
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Willing to undertake relevant training and development
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Prepared to work overtime and have flexibility to work unsocial hours to meet the needs of the business.
