Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing electrical connections and wiring for air source heat pumps. Duties
- Install new electrical wiring and connections for air source heat pumps following diagrams, and safety standards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic devices to identify root causes
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical parts promptly and safely
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and safety regulations at all times
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for future reference
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and voltage testers
- Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring methods, circuitry, and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
