About the Role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll support the kitchen team with the preparation and serving of meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your work will help create a positive dining experience for our residents every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Serve meals and refreshments to residents.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- An understanding of food hygiene is an advantage.
