Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time E-Bike Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles and technical skills to maintain and repair electric bikes efficiently. Duties
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on e-bikes, ensuring optimal performance
- Conduct routine maintenance, including tyre replacements, brake adjustments, and battery servicing
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble bike components
- Perform safety checks on all bikes before customer collection or delivery
- Assist customers with basic troubleshooting and advice on bike care
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to safety standards
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each bike
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to bicycle components and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
- Experience with power tools used in bicycle repair and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling bikes or parts during repairs
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and quality control
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Prior experience working with electric bikes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: From £80.00 per day
