Yard Operative
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard Operative to join our team. You will help ensure the yard and production areas are kept safe, clean, organised and running efficiently, while supporting warehouse and production operations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload deliveries safely.
- Move and store stock, materials and products correctly.
- Check deliveries and report damages or discrepancies.
- Keep the yard, storage and production areas clean and organised.
- Operate machinery and equipment where trained and authorised.
- Support warehouse and production teams when required.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and report hazards or faults.
- Carry out general labouring and manual handling duties.
What We're Looking For
- Previous yard, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Comfortable with physical and manual handling work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- FLT licence essential.
Working Hours
Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–6:00pm
Friday: 7:30am–4:00pm
This is a practical, hands-on role involving both indoor and outdoor work. Flexibility for overtime may be required depending on business needs.
Pay: £29,300.00-£32,000.00 per year
