Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor/Assistant Manager to oversee daily bar operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent service, and a solid background in food and beverage management. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily bar activities, ensuring smooth operation during shifts.
- Lead and motivate bar staff, providing training and support to maintain high standards of service.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional events or special offerings to attract customers.
Experience
- Proven supervising or managerial experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Experience in serving beverages
- Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Previous experience in hospitality leadership roles demonstrating team management skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments that emphasise excellent customer service standards.
- Competence in supervising food safety practices and maintaining high hygiene standards.
