DATA CABLING ENGINEERS WANTED — AD-HOC CONTRACT WORK
Fulton Communications is expanding its network of reliable Data Cabling Engineers for upcoming ad-hoc projects across London and surrounding areas.
We are looking to build a strong pool of experienced engineers who can be called upon as projects become available.
RATES:
Day Shifts: £150–£180 per day
Night Shifts: £180–£200 per night
Rates will depend on experience, competency and the requirements of each project.
TYPICAL WORKS MAY INCLUDE
- Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6A installation
- Data cable pulling, routing and dressing
- Termination of data outlets and patch panels
- Cabinet and comms room works
- Testing, labelling and fault finding
- Containment installation where required
- Moves, adds and changes
- General structured cabling works
- Fibre experience is advantageous
- Commercial and construction-site environments
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We want engineers who are:
- Experienced within data/structured cabling
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional when representing Fulton Communications
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working both day and night shifts
- Able to follow site RAMS, H&S procedures and client requirements
- Available for ad-hoc/project-based work
Relevant qualifications such as ECS/CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and structured cabling/fibre certifications are advantageous.
Own transport and tools are highly desirable.
PLEASE NOTE!!
This is ad-hoc contract work. Work is offered according to project and client requirements, so there is no guarantee of a fixed number of days or shifts each week.
However, our aim is to build a dependable network of engineers who can be contacted quickly as new projects and opportunities become available.
