Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions, supporting this small team, and maintaining an efficient office environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and proficiency in office software to contribute to a dynamic organisation. Part Time within working hours 9:00am-5:30pm Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office programmes, Xero and Monday.com
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Support invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities using Xero
- Coordinate office supplies procurement to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Provide general administrative support to team members and management as needed
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
- Is able to balance different elements of the role effectively
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional phone etiquette
- Administrative experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
