Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to make a difference in the local community by supporting people to remain independent in their own homes.
Due to the nature of the role and looking after people in their own homes we would require the successful applicant to have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred
- Current Enhanced DBS for working with Adults on the update service is advantagous
- IT skills for maintaining accurate records and completing documentation digitally
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts that include evenings and weekends
