Job Overview
We are a small and growing cleaning company looking for a Mobile Cleaner to join our team. This is a varied role covering both domestic and commercial cleaning sites, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and progress within the business as we grow.
The role is predominantly based around 7:00am to 1:30pm, although some flexibility may be required depending on client requirements and scheduled jobs.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable and ambitious, and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
As a mobile cleaner, you will represent the company at different locations, so professionalism, good communication and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Travel to different domestic and commercial sites to carry out high-quality cleaning services.
* Complete cleaning tasks to the required company and client standards.
* Clean and maintain areas including but not limited to floors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, offices and communal areas.
* Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
* Work independently when required and also support colleagues as part of a wider team.
* Carry out site checks and identify any cleaning, maintenance or health and safety issues.
* Complete cleaning reports and provide accurate updates to management.
* Communicate and liaise professionally with clients when required.
* Report any issues, incidents or concerns promptly.
* Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and used correctly.
* Follow company procedures, health and safety requirements and safe chemical-handling practices.
* Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively at all times.
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience is preferred, particularly in commercial and domestic environments.
* Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering a high standard of work.
* Comfortable working alone and managing your own workload.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional approach when dealing with clients.
* Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Able to complete reports and provide clear updates to management.
* Good time-management and organisational skills.
* Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
* Flexible approach to working across different locations and environments.
* Driving license is essential
