Thortech International Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Resin Surfacing Operative to join our expanding team.
The role will involve installing both resin-bound and resin-bonded surfacing systems on a variety of projects throughout the UK. Although our office is based on Penarth Road, Cardiff, this is primarily a site-based position. The successful candidate must therefore be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparing surfaces before installation
- Mixing and applying resin-bound and resin-bonded systems
- Operating tools and equipment safely
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following site-specific health and safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of a site team
- Delivering work to a consistently high standard
Experience and requirements:
- Previous resin surfacing or construction experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided
- A valid CSCS card is preferred
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Willingness to travel and work away from home throughout the UK
- Able to undertake practical, physically demanding work
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
