The successful applicant will need to be available to work evenings and weekends
Duties include:
- Provide support to the Sports and Recreation Officer with the delivery of the Youth Club sessions and School Holiday Programme.
- Assess the needs of young people to correctly plan and deliver programmes related to areas such as health, fitness, sports and social engagement.
- Set up and run arts and crafts-based activities, community projects, social activities, outdoor games and sporting activities.
- Develop a relationship with young people based on respect and trust, ensuring they have a safe place to develop their identity and place in society.
- Establish boundaries and challenge inappropriate behaviour.
