Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee and manage civil engineering projects on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and work schedules to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Resolve technical issues that arise during construction by liaising with design teams and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, inspection logs, and incident reports.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction phases to optimise resource utilisation.
- Ensure environmental standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Civil Engineering and CSCS Card.
- Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools is desirable.
