About the Role
We are looking for a Junior/Trainee E-Commerce Administrator to join our team and support the management of product listings and online content for a high-end department store. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in e-commerce and digital retail. The ideal candidate will be organised, eager to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Adding and updating product information on the website
- Creating and maintaining product specification sheets to ensure online content is accurate and up to date
- Editing and preparing product images using basic Photoshop skills
- Reviewing website content and digital assets to ensure quality and consistency
- Collecting product information, images and marketing materials from brands and suppliers
- Assisting with customer queries and returns
- Supporting online order processing and dispatch operations
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and providing updates both verbally and in writing
What We're Looking For
- Excellent attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and follow established processes
- Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Basic Photoshop or image editing experience would be an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (typically 12:00pm – 4:00pm)
- Half-day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working
