Social by Matto isn’t just a place - it’s a vibe. A little loud, a little wild, and a whole lot of fun, we’re the cheeky younger sibling of Matto Pizza, serving up irresistible cicchetti, Neapolitan pizza, dangerously good cocktails, and a side of good times in the heart of Edinburgh.
Think neon lights, banging playlists, Aperol on tap, and pizza slices flying out faster than you can say “another round!” We’re all about bringing people together - whether it’s around a table, over the bar, or behind the scenes with our team. That’s why we’re building a crew of passionate, hard-working legends who love food, thrive on energy, and know how to keep things Social!

Can you shake, stir, pour, and banter - all at once?
At Social by Matto, the bar is where the party starts (and sometimes ends). We’re on the hunt for cocktail-slinging legends who bring theatre, energy, and just the right amount of chaos behind the bar.
What you’ll be doing:
Mixing up banging cocktails, pouring cold pints, and keeping the good times flowing
Knowing your Negroni from your Margarita - and how to make both in your sleep
Chatting with guests, slinging drinks, and making everyone feel like a regular
Keeping the bar spotless, stocked, and running smoother than your favourite playlist
Working closely with the floor team to deliver seamless service
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience behind a busy bar (bonus points for cocktail confidence)
A fast-moving, multi-tasking vibe master
Someone with great chat, quick hands, and a sharp eye for detail
A cool head under pressure (and during those 12-Mojitos-at-once moments)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours - we live for the rush
