MET Technician
Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire
Salary: £42,000 per year (£19.00 per hour)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 hrs)
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
We are seeking experienced MET Technicians to join our client’s bodyshop team in Long Bennington. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring vehicles are stripped, repaired, and refitted to the highest standards, under the guidance of the bodyshop manager and supervisor.
The Role:
- Accurately undertake the removal of vehicle parts (body parts, mechanical, electrical, and trim)
- Removing damaged components in preparation for repairs.
- Re-fitting components to restore the vehicle back to a manufacturer approved standard.
- Assist other departments within the bodyshop as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an MET Technician is essential.
- ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Must have own tools.
- Hold a full, category B driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
