Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our clients dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution, advising clients on legal disputes and representing them in court, arbitration, and other legal proceedings. The role requires strong advocacy skills, a strategic mindset, and excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a broad range of litigation matters including civil, commercial, or other dispute resolution cases.
- Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, draft correspondence, witness statements, and legal submissions.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, or arbitration hearings.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and other third parties to progress cases efficiently.
- Provide strategic legal advice tailored to client objectives and risk profiles.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, procedural rules, and the SRA Code of Conduct.
- Maintain accurate case records and billing information using case management systems.
- Contribute to business development and client retention initiatives.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- NQ - 3 years PQE in litigation or dispute resolution.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure rules and litigation process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Client-focused approach with high standards of service and professionalism.
