Trade Recruit is currently recruiting on behalf of our customer for an experienced Heat Pump Installation Manager to oversee domestic heat pump installation projects across South Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Renewable Heating Engineer looking to progress into a management role within a growing renewable energy business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and maintaining exceptional standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee heat pump installation projects across South Yorkshire.
- Lead and support installation engineers and subcontractors on-site.
- Ensure all installations comply with MCS standards, Building Regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support where required.
- Coordinate labour, materials, and project schedules to ensure efficient delivery.
- Carry out quality inspections and commissioning checks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to installation teams.
- Monitor productivity, project performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Work closely with senior management to support business growth and operational excellence.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Renewable Heating Engineer.
- Proven experience installing and commissioning Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs).
- Strong understanding of MCS standards and renewable heating regulations.
- Previous experience supervising engineers or managing installation projects.
- Excellent technical, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel across South Yorkshire as required.
