We are seeking an enthusiastic hard working Assistant Warehouse Manager / 'All Rounder’ to strengthen our existing team.
We are a Free Range Egg Farm - The eggs are produced, graded, packed on our farm and then sold within a 30 mile radius. We supply a range of shops, local markets, the catering trade and food wholesalers.
The job will mostly involve Grading and Packing Eggs but there will be some Delivering Driving! No day is the same!
This is a permanent Full Time position and we are looking for somebody who will consider it as a career, be very much a team player and who really wants to get involved.
We are looking for somebody with enthusiasm, who takes responsibly, has lots of initiative and a great sense of humor!
The hours will be approx 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
The person must speak very good English, be smart to do deliveries and be able to lift heavy boxes. Competitive pay.
Main Duties:
Egg grading, packing, loading vans for deliveries
Assisting with picking and packing of customers’ orders
Vehicle loading and unloading
Relief Delivery Cover
Record keeping, Invoicing customers
Some Farm Work at busy times
Occasionally Running Market Stalls
Person Specification - Keen attention to detail. Good standard of numeracy and literacy. High level of dexterity. Positive ‘can-do’ attitude. Safety conscious. Ability to work fast while maintain accuracy. Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt. Communicates well and is 100% trustworthy and reliable!
