About the role
Clinicians working within Keys Health are part of a dedicated team, committed to patient excellence and are expected to deliver treatment with empathy, focus and commitment. As an integral part of our organisation, the Clinical Directorate is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating and monitoring treatment plans. You will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, providing essential services to individuals receiving care services across the Keys health group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting delivery of the Clinical Governance monthly meeting- ensuring compliance with the standing agenda.
- Review of clinical policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), ensuring that they are relevant to practice, up to date and that any amendments are circulated to the team.
- Quality assurance of clinical prescribing standards, working alongside the Quality Assurance team to identify any prescribing concerns, highlighting themes or individual concerns and liaising with the medical directorate to formulate an appropriate action plan.
- Working with the Head of Clinical Governance to monitor, report and embed learning and recommendations following investigations and change in practice.
- Monthly report to be produced for the Clinical Governance meeting covering clinical areas such as complaints, education and training, audit, investigations, clinical effectiveness incidents and near-miss events.
- Update and maintain compliance records with organisation and regulatory requirements.
- Support Development of organisation towards outstanding CQC
- Work with clinical teams to support with audit and thematic analysis
- Hold responsibility for the clinical risk register to support with organisational risk management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Healthcare professional with relevant statutory body (Essential)
- To work unsupervised and independently within appropriate code of professional conduct (Essential)
- Experience investigating complaints and incidents with attention to detail, ensuring that lessons are learned and embedded within the organisation culture(Essential)
- Understanding the Care Quality Commission (Essential)
- Previous experience in Clinical governance and quality assurance (Essential)
- Demonstratable knowledge of clinical governance, patient safety agendas and an ambition for effective learning and continuous development across the organisation (Essential)
- ADHD/Autism experience (Desirable)
- Experience of undertaking and thematic analysis from clinical audit (Desirable)
- Experience of service improvement and evaluation (Desirable)
Demonstrable Skills:
- Demonstrable ability to connect with, and provide support for children, and/or adults
- Familiarity with IT systems
- Willingness to learn and follow clinical standards of practice
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients
- Sufficient IT skills to be able to undertake a remote post
- Ability to work alongside others within a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Professional approach consistent with regulatory body expectations
- Excellent time management and ability to manage own workload
- Previous line management experience
- Strong desire to uphold clinical standards and deliver best practice
