3D Contract services Ltd is a farming business, based at West Ancroft ,Berwick upon Tweed.
We are seeking a Harvest Plant Operator/Loader Operator to join our team for this coming season. The successful candidate will help with the operation of machinery and equipment within the grain plant.
3 - 4 month's work available, although there is the potential for long term employment in other parts of our business.
July- October
During our peak times, it will be 12-hour shifts.
Agricultural or forklift experience would be an advantage, but training will be given.
Duties
- Weighing and processing lorries.
- Drying and handling grain.
- Loading lorries with telescopic and loading shovel.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Some tractor work
Requirements
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
- A commitment to health and safety regulations is essential.
- Flexibility and willingness to work long hours when needed.
- Driving licence.
- Forklift experience an advantage.
- A good work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
