Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Holiday Cottage Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of holiday cottages, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. Previous experience in hospitality roles is highly desirable, but full training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a scenic location, providing exceptional service to holidaymakers.
Duties
- Thorough cleaning of all areas within the holiday cottages, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
- Changing bed linens and making beds to a high standard
- Restocking supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Organising cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently for each shift
- Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
- Flexibility to work weekends or holiday periods as required
