Construo Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Roofing Surveyor to join a growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a roofing or construction professional with strong technical knowledge and surveying experience to join a respected business delivering roofing projects across the social housing and property maintenance sectors.
The Role
As Roofing Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, carrying out inspections, producing technical reports and providing expert advice to clients and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting detailed roof inspections and condition surveys
Producing comprehensive survey reports, specifications and recommendations
Providing technical support and guidance to site teams and operatives
Assisting with defect diagnosis, complaints investigations and remedial solutions
Preparing risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation
Assessing contractor performance and workmanship standards
Ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards, building regulations and industry best practice
Liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
Requirements
Proven experience within the roofing or wider construction industry
Strong technical understanding of slate, tile and flat roofing systems
Experience carrying out site surveys and preparing technical reports
Knowledge of social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects
Understanding of KPIs, SORs and WIP management
Ability to prepare specifications, RAMS and project documentation
Good IT skills and experience using job management software
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Full UK Driving Licence
