The On-Site Group are looking for Data Cabling Supervisor in North Acton on a Data Centre project.
As an you Data Cabling Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the cable installation gang.
- Act as the primary supervisory point of contact for the gang.
- Liaise professionally with the client, main contractor and other site management teams.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings and daily briefings as required.
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials, access and work areas to maintain productivity.
- Monitor progress against the programme and provide regular updates to project management.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, RAMS and project requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and quality, ensuring installations meet the required standards.
- Complete and maintain daily records, progress reports, timesheets and relevant site documentation.
- Coordinate with other trades and contractors to avoid clashes and maintain efficient workflow.
- Identify potential issues, delays or resource requirements and escalate them appropriately.
- Promote and enforce a strong health, safety and environmental culture.
- Ensure the gang maintains good housekeeping and complies with all site rules and procedures.
- Support inspections, snagging and close-out activities.
- Manage and motivate the workforce, maintaining high standards of conduct, attendance and performance.
- Ensure all operatives have the appropriate competencies, inductions and site requirements in place.
