We are currently seeking Support Service Assistants for Kirby House, Care Home.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment and assist in the smooth day-to-day running of multiple departments- including housekeeping, laundry, kitchen, recreational activities, and care. By working flexibly to support wherever most needed, you will help enhance the quality of life for our residents while upholding high standards of care and comfort.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and have the ability to work independently.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the home, including residents’ rooms, communal spaces, corridors, and offices.
- Launder residents’ personal clothing and home linen, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and ensuring proper storage.
- Assist the Cook and kitchen team with food preparation, washing up, and serving meals and drinks as required.
- Support residents with recreational and social activities, encouraging their participation to promote wellbeing and quality of life.
- Assist care staff with light personal care and supervision at mealtimes or as required.
- Work in a professional manner at all times, upholding the home’s ethos and policies.

Shifts include days, nights and weekends.

Pay: £12.80-£13.05 per hour
