Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and RELIABLE Fencing Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fencing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality fencing projects.
PPE ,Tools and equipment provided, Fuel allowance for commute
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (you must be able to commute to Oakley fencing contractors ltd. S64 8BH by your own means)
Weekly basic pay +excellent weekly bonus system based on meters of fencing installed
You will be treated as a individual and valued member of the team ,
Excellent earning potential with bonus system
Responsibilities
- Measure and mark out fencing lines according to project specifications
- Prepare the site by clearing vegetation, debris, and ensuring a level foundation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to install fencing panels, posts, and gates
- Dig post holes using manual or powered equipment, ensuring stability and accuracy
- Secure fencing components using appropriate fixings and fastenings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation activities
- Assist with other construction tasks such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry as required
- Maintain equipment in good condition and report any faults or issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial fencing installation
- MUST HAVE CSCS card,and a driving licence for over 4 years, SSSTS ideal but not essential
- Good work ethics essential , motivated individuals with a "can do "attitude will do well
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately
- Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Punctual,polite and easy to communicate with is a must .
- Commitment to health and safety standards on site. Candidates should be organised, safety-conscious, and motivated to deliver high-quality workmanship on every project.
