Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to meet health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently and efficiently
- Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
