We have a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Supply Chain within our Frozen Division working at our site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
The role is on a fixed term contract for 12 months to provide maternity cover.
Must have food manufacturing experience.
Hours are Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00 (flexibility required to suit business needs)
Home working is possible for up to two days per week once training has been completed. Flexibility is required to suit business requirements.
Salary is £55,000 - £65,000 dependant upon expereince.
Overall Purpose:-
To ensure that forecasted needs of the business are effectively covered by processing and purchase whilst minimising surpluses. To provide support and cover to the Supply Chain Director as required.
Foster a strong food safety culture by consistently following best practices, identifying and reporting potential risks, and encouraging open communication to support continuous improvement in food safety performance.
Key responsibilities:-
- Collection of Data from various sources
- Production of S & OP presentation pack
- Present analysis during S & OP meetings
- Participate in weekly meetings with inter-company colleagues to discuss stock availability
- Manage inter-company flows
- Communicate risks to raw material availability to the commercial and technical teams
- Highlight requirements for raw material derogations per customer specification
- Produce reports on problem stocks
- Analyse and understand all data collated
- Provide master data maintenance
- Involvement in annual budget process
- Development of databases/systems
- Show present and future stocks to make improvements
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
Person Specification:-
- Excellent IT Skills particularly Excel
- Proven accurate Data Entry Skills
- Ability to read, understand and analyse and report data
- A self starter with the ability to priortise own workload and meed the daily demands of the role, either working independently or as part of a team
- Highly organised and able to work to tight schedules and deadlines
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships - both internally and externally

- Expererience of a similar role within a manufactoring environment
- Previous experience of supply chain/prcurement terminology and systems
- SAP and IBP Supply Demand experience an advantage
