Prestige Contracting (York) Ltd. has been operating for over 20 years taking on Local Authorities and commercial work within the Yorkshire region.
We are looking to employ a self motivated experienced Groundworker who can work well within a team and can support the Foreman.
There is the opportunity to work on a range of projects including Commercial warehouses, bespoke home and historic building delivering high quality results - a challenging and rewarding job.
The work ca be anywhere in the UK and any applicant must eb willing to work away Monday to Friday.
Ideally the candidate should have plant operating experience (CPCS or NPORS), with PROVEN SKILLS and a working knowledge in the following areas:
>Operating plant such as 360 excavators, dumpers, ride on rollers, cut-off saws, compaction plates etc. etc.
>Excavations, earthwork support/shoring
>All aspects of drainage including pipe laying, chamber construction, permeable and non permeable storage systems.
>Laying kerbs/paving/block paving/macadam/concrete/flag paving/resin bound gravel/etc.
Must be physically capable of carrying out manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions accurately and be fully focused on the job in hand.
Good team skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Competitive salary dependent on age, experience, skills and qualifications.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7.30 - 4.30.
Starting Holiday: 20 days p.a. paid holiday plus Bank Holidays (approx. 8).

- the candidates we are looking for should have a UK drivers license, plant operating skills and experience in commercial groundworks and hard landscaping i.e. setting out work from drawings, Laying drainage to line and level, laying paving/kerbs/edgings etc. etc.
