Job Title: Stores Coordinator

Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £22,500 - £30,000 per annum (DOE), plus benefits

To drive Aerodyn Ltd.’s growth by supporting the slip ring operations through effective quality control, inventory management and the smooth movement of goods in and out of the facility. This role is critical in ensuring accurate stock control and the timely kitting of parts for operations. The incumbent will be responsible for picking and assembling kits for delivery to designated shop floor locations, conducting inventory checks and managing stock refurbishment, assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments and maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring efficient material flow. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Goods In/Out operations, receiving and processing goods via the ERP software, ensuring accurate documentation and correct storage.
- Assisting with quality control checks and sign-off for incoming goods.
- Maintain stock control, booking items in/out and ensuring correct placement in designated locations, utilising batch and FIFO controls.
- Accurately prepare, document, pack and dispatch orders using the ERP system.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and uphold high standards of housekeeping in stores and dispatch areas; keep the area clean and tidy to ensure safe working practices and to allow the site to function efficiently and comply with safety legislation.
- Assemble and prepare kits from kitting lists & deliver to shopfloor locations in line with SOPs.
- Operated forklift Truck safely for material handling.
- Comply with site manual handling procedures and handle hazardous materials as per site H&S policies.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times.
- Support the planning process and contribute towards Continuous Improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Participate in regular meetings, involvement in SQDCL, reporting the stores/dispatch status and highlighting potential constraints.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- GCSEs with Maths & English at Grade C / Grade 4-5 or above
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in an electromechanical manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Familiar with MRP & ERP systems and their application in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Understanding of stores and warehouse logistics.
- Microsoft office and excel skills at an intermediate level is desirable.
- Willingness to develop & grow professionally within the business.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Physical Demands & Locations:
- Predominately a manufacturing and office environment however, there shall be the physical demands of working within cells, stores and shop floor areas. Whilst performing the physical duties of this role, the jobholder shall be required to be active through standing, walking, bending, carrying, and the possible use of hand tools/test equipment in accordance with site Manual Handling and site Health & Safety Policy.
- From time to time, it may be necessary for the jobholder to undertake reasonable tasks on behalf of the company, which would not normally be regarded as part of the role. The jobholder shall carry these out to the best of their ability. The job holder will undertake ad hoc/other duties when requested by their line manager or a member of the senior management team.
- Work duties will require operating within various areas of the facility including but not limited to the stores & dispatch area, assembly/test area and machine area as required.
- The position may require travel in the UK. The jobholder should hold a full UK driving licence and Passport.
