Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, countertops, and appliances with accuracy and attention to detail
- Use hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to fabricate and fit kitchen components seamlessly
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications
- Perform additional tasks such as plumbing connections, electrical fittings, masonry work, or roofing as needed to complete comprehensive kitchen setups
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high craftsmanship standards
- Assist with heavy lifting and positioning of large kitchen elements safely and efficiently
- Complete site reports and communicate progress clearly with project managers and clients
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related construction roles involving kitchen fitting or similar projects
- Skilled in using hand tools (saws, drills, screwdrivers), power tools (jigsaws, drills), and heavy machinery for construction tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, masonry techniques, roofing processes, and construction painting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Prior experience working on residential or commercial renovation projects is preferred
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during installation work
