Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated bar and restaurant supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve, not only serving drinks but also assisting with taking food out to customers and maintaining cleanliness in the bar and restaurant area. At least 2 years supervising experience is required and the ability to help motivate and train staff effectively.
Excellent hours of work Wednesday to Sunday on a part time basis
Responsibilities
- Serve beverages and food items to customers promptly and courteously.
- Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience through upselling and providing recommendations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating hospitality at all times.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
