Overview
Vangoo Ltd are a Bristol based company who specialise in new and used commercial vehicles. Due to our new acquisition of adjoining premises we are now opening out own brand new body shop, and require a full team with experience for immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out high quality vehicle repair to manufacture standards
- Prepare vehicles for painting including masking, sanding and painting.
- Mix and apply paints to match manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and repair techniques.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assessments.
- Assist in managing workflow within the body shop to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Use of spray guns and finishing equipment to achieve high-standard results
- Polish and finish painted surfaces
- Adhere to all health, safety ad environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive spray painting or refinishing
- NVQ level 2/3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent (preferred)
- ATA accreditation is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and colour matching skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Full UK Driving licence
